For nearly thirty years, Rev. Caleb Rayapati has faithfully served among the forgotten communities of rural Telangana, South India. At the heart of Caleb’s ministry is a commitment to strengthening local churches and raising indigenous Christian leaders who can faithfully serve their own communities for generations to come. Together with his wife, Usha, Caleb has faithfully served in ministry while raising their two children.
After Caleb completed his theological studies at HBI Chennai, he committed himself fully to ministry, serving through evangelism, discipleship, literature and film outreach, and village missions. Over the years, the ministry expanded beyond church planting to serve struggling communities through children’s and youth programs, medical and dental camps, clean water projects, HIV/AIDS care initiatives, and disaster relief outreach.
One of the ministry’s most impactful works is VMSS School, an English-medium school serving orphaned, destitute, and single-parent children. Many students are first-generation learners from poor rural backgrounds. Today, Harvest Ministries continues to carry the gospel into underserved communities across Telangana, strengthening local churches, raising indigenous leaders, and bringing the hope of Christ to generations still waiting to hear His name.
