DESCRIPTIONS
Children’s Ministry
Serve children birth-6th grade on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and/or at special events. Volunteers can be junior high-aged and above; Children’s Ministry will help you find the right age group(s) to serve.
Hospitality Ministry
Volunteer opportunities range from greeting on a Sunday morning, serving in the coffee shop, ushering people to their seats and/or helping out with special events.
Break the Cycle Outreach Team
Help repair and renovate bicycles donated to A New Leaf’s East Valley Men’s Shelter and/or participate in a Bible study with the shelter’s residents. Help them develop healthy life skills and attitudes based on the wisdom of the scriptures as well as share Christ’s love and gospel message.
Photography Team
Take photos of community life at Red Mountain. All skill levels are welcome. Use your personal camera or phone camera.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Be a part of caring for the sick and hurting in our community through knitting shawls for them as you pray for them. If you love to knit or crochet (or would like to learn), join us. Supplies are provided. You will receive an email each month with the specific location of each meeting.
Prayer Team
Do you enjoy praying with and for others in the church and in your community? The Prayer Team at Red Mountain fills various needs in our congregation and ministries and in the community by faithfully praying. Some of the volunteers on the prayer team pray at home for these concerns and needs. Some pray together with others in our Prayer Care Group which meets on Mondays. Volunteers also pray with people who visit the Cross at the back of our sanctuary after each service.
Tech Team
As part of the tech team, you will have the opportunity to help run audio/visual equipment during Sunday morning services or special events. You don’t need to have any previous experience, volunteers will be trained.
Tender Loving Care (TLC)
This volunteer group helps those in our community with tangible needs–from bringing a meal to a family in a difficult situation to taking someone to/from a doctor’s appointment or running an errand for someone who can’t leave the house–every single act of service is a huge blessing.
Worship Team
If you have a heart for serving with your musical talents, we’d love to have you audition!
