Welcome to Care & Recovery at Red Mountain! We aim to bring restoration, encouragement, and life to people who are facing challenges or difficulties in their lives.
We want to walk alongside you while you navigate the season of life you are in. We know that each person deals with situations differently, but no matter who you are or what you are going through, we firmly believe it is vital to be surrounded by people who care for you, in a setting where you will be directed to Jesus as the source of all healing and help. We would love to have the opportunity to pray with you, to equip you with practical tools for your life, and to give you hope for the future. Tender Loving Care
This volunteer group helps those in our community with tangible needs–from bringing a meal to a family in a difficult situation to taking someone to/from a doctor’s appointment or running an errand for someone who can’t leave the house–every single act of service is a huge blessing. The Shepherd Team
The Shepherd Team at Red Mountain is a care and discipleship ministry. Shepherds help people in our church community through one-on-one relationships during all seasons of life. Shepherds are not counselors, but they do seek to walk alongside those in our community who are facing hardships. They are objective third parties that are there to listen, offer wisdom, provide encouragement and/or discipleship. Above all else, they are there to help strengthen your relationship with the Lord. Regardless of what circumstances you are facing, the Shepherd Team is here for you. They have life wisdom for how to live well in various situations and yearn to walk with you through whatever you are going through. Prayer Request
A prayer team prays for each of the prayer requests that come in. We want to partner with you in prayer and support you through whatever you are going through.
Prayer Shawl
It is important to us at Red Mountain to care for the sick and hurting in our community. One way we do that is through our prayer shawl ministry. If you love to knit or crochet (or would like to learn) we would love for you to join us as we meet in homes and enjoy fellowship through serving together.
Supplies will be provided for you. You will receive an email each month with the specific location of each meeting. If you would like to join us, please email Kathleen Cochran or call 480-985-1134.
Journey
Journey is a healing and freedom-seeking support group for women who struggle with addictive sexual behavior including:
- practicing masturbation
- consuming pornography
- sexually fantasizing about men that are not your spouse, i.e. someone you know in person, a fantasy character from books, television, or other media outlets
This confidential group is rooted in Scripture and what the Bible has to say about our sexual desires and the reality that God wants more for us. You don’t have to walk alone in sin or shame—you can find freedom through Christ.
